Statistics of China's stone import and export in 2020
In 2020, China imported 12.6 million tons of stone materials, a drop of 10.6% year-on-year, an increase of 6.8% over 2019; the value of goods worth us $2.37 billion, a decrease of 12.3% year-on-year, and a decrease of 13.1% over 2019.
Among them, the quantity and value of imported waste materials accounted for 93.7% and 96.3% respectively, which decreased by 2.3% and 0.1% respectively. The top 10 import sources accounted for 87.1% of China's total stone imports, an increase of 0.4% over the previous year.
In 2020, China exported 8.7m tons of Stone Materials (excluding 25174900 tons) , a decrease of 12.6% year on year, increase 2.9% over the previous year; the value of goods worth USD $6.54 billion, an increase of 14.9% year on year, and an increase of 24.8% over the previous year.
Among them, the export volume and the value of goods accounted for 92.9% and 98.8% respectively, which were 0.9% and 0.1% lower than the previous year. The top 20 export destinations accounted for 87.1% of China's total stone exports, an increase of 0.4% over the previous year.
